Dr. Brown has been practicing for 23 years. To him, being a veterinarian is more than just the interaction with and treatment of animals. Veterinarians deal with the animal’s entire lifespan, from bringing life into the world and down the road to the final transitional from this world. But, having said that, helping people is just as important to him. He believes his previous background in research, with a Master’s degree in microbiology and a Ph.D. in animal physiology and immunology, enhanced his skills as a clinician as he loves to solve problems. He moved to North Georgia 14 years ago to be around his grandkids, so he enjoys them by hanging out with and spoiling them in his spare time. He likes to build things out of wood, tinker with old cars, and likes to fish and hunt as well. Although not much of a guitar player, he like music as it gives the family something to do together.
